Chris Baucia

Chris is presently the Offensive Coordinator and Quarterback Coach at The Gilman School , Baltimore Md. In his very first year helped the Gilman Football program win the MIAA "A" Championship. As the OC at Gilman the offense has averaged 40 points per game and his QB accounted for over 2,000 yards of offense . After the 2011 season Coach Baucia is the first Coordinator to ever win a Conference title in both prominent Private school conferences in the state of Maryland (The MIAA 'A' and the WCAC). In 2011 Coach Baucia was also named the OC in the Marine HS All American game in Arizona. This game will feature the nations best players and will be televised on CBS.

Before accepting that position he served as the OC and QB Coach at DeMatha Catholic High School in Hyattsville, Md. Every Quarterback that he has coached at DeMatha has went on to college on either a full D1 scholarship or substantial grant and aid.. He has also assisted over 195 student athletes in receiving full Div.1 full scholarships.During that time the DeMatha Stags have won 14 WCAC championships, including a #1 ranking in the Washington Post in 2000, 2001 and 2004, and USA Today #15 2003, #20 2004, #14 2005, #16 2006. In 1997 legendary high school and NFL Coach of the year Bill McGregor promoted Coach Baucia to Offensive Coordinator. Coach Baucia took over the play calling duties until 2010.
